alrighty here goes some preliminaries, as of my last journal i was on crutches, im off now, been off for a while, but yeah, i rehurt my ankle like 2 or 3 times though then i would have to put the brace back on and all, its almost the end of the yeah, its been fun, but summer will be funner, (yes FUNNER, btchs) so i am thinking and talking to my homie angela marie and we started talking about music, pretty cool stuff that music is, but here is just my thoughts, actually im not expecting you all to care its just for your edification (yes i used a vocab word, yay for english class)

MMkay. so take this in, you have the music buisinees, go back maybe 3 years give or take. Alrighty, turn on the radio and what do you hear. more than likaly you have american idiot by green day or sugar were going down, so yeah. go a little down the road people are like, OH that song sucks, and being mean to the people who listen to it, personally, i think american idiot is a great song, overplayed at times yes, but there wasn't much else worth listening to, unless ur into the whole hip hop/rap scene, which for the most part was so vulgar most people wouldn't listen to it anyway. but see how things change, what was in is now out. why, idk. so what does it mean when i listen to bands from the 60s-80s, course most of those bands were better anyhow. anyway, ANOTHER TOPIC.

posuers in music: okay. I know people who want to be punk, some have come to me and asked "am i punk" or "how do i become punk" fist of all i say it is not some thing you just up and become, it is 1 a gradual thing and 2 not something you chose its something that you just are. then if you do that and aren't really punk, you are what is commonly known as a posuer. See, i have no problem with bands like greenday, yellowcard or good charlett even fall out boy, im not huge fans of those bands but they have some good songs. What I do have a problem with is when people call them punk, they are not, none of the "new age punk" that i have heard is real punk, mmmkay, some one show me some good recent punk sweet im all for it but its hard to find. and these people who listen to those bands ussually when asked the question "what is your favorite sex pistols song" they are like "I am an anarchist" OHHHH HOW THAT PISSES ME OFF, ITS CALLED FRICKEN "ANARCHY IN THE UK" OH MY GOSH GET THE F-IN NAME RIGHT, SAME WITH THE RAMONES ITS NOT "HEY HO LETS GO" IS CALLED "BLITZKRIEG BOP" sry guys i was having a moment. Bands who are all like "im punk" and arent piss me off. When i first say avril lavines picture i was like "sweet, chick singing punk. it looks awsome" he first song I heard her sing was "skater boy" i was like "who the f- is this" so i was dissapointed and i thought maybe it was just that song, but now you have "girlfreind" what the heck man, seriously, its just annoiying that name punk gets. and MTV FRIKEN PROMOTES IT, they are all like, oh here is a new punk band and they are like this faster version of pop crap rock. oh its sad. but i really dont watch MTV much. people, or rather posuers think that you must like punk music and that kind of stuff, personally i really like a lot of punk, some though is really pretty nasty, like the nofx song "my vagina" that song is really nasty not funny not anything but just plain vulgar, but being punk is not just listening to punk music, yes it is a part and a pretty big part to some, but its also about being open minded, being willing to see the truth, or open minded and seeing other music, i like some metal and rock, even country, *gasp* yes its true. haha. People also think they have to be like "WOOOOO ANARCHY" again a sign of either a. an idiot, b. a real anarchist, but most likaly c. a posuer, sure way to see is if you ask them why, an idiot will look at you blankly, not that it will be much of a change, a real anarchist will be like, its because of the government, they screw us over and real anarchist ussually live on the streets and dont use public things because they are sponcered by the govt. posuers will be like (ussuallly very unsure of themselves) "dude because its what i believe in, the govt is bad, yeah. so yeah. dude" so yeah. I personally am not an anarchist, i believe there is a lot of govt. issues and there needs to be some major chang, YAY FOR NEW PRESIDENT, i also know that govt. was christend by God in the Bible. I will stand against what I know is wrong. so yeah. i would write more but i cannot right now, if you got through this thanks for reading, hey why dont we start a little conversation with all the people who read this down below ya know.
